Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. One of our primary missions here at PGCC is the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff. As this COVID-19 pandemic affects all of us with county, state, and national agencies implementing a stay at home policy; we have decided to forgo the start of Summer 2020 classes scheduled for May 5th, 2020. We currently are planning on resuming classes September 1st, 2020. Hopefully this will be enough time for life to start to get back to some kind of normal. We will have staff available for you during this time, via phone or email.
This decision does not affect the completion of the current semester, as we work to complete the Spring 2020 semester our staff and faculty are here for you.
For International students, VA students, and any student on financial aid please reach out to your campus counselors for any clarification on how this could affect you.
We will continue to stay in touch and update you as things progress.
We appreciate your patience and understanding in this situation.

The safety of our students, faculty and staff are of the upmost importance. As our communities feels the impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) we wanted to take the time to update you on the measures the college has been taking to ensure the safety of our student, faculty and staff. We have increased the frequency of our cleaning and disinfection habits. We continue to monitor the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and WHO (World Health Organization) for any updates and best practices and protocols. At this time no one to our knowledge has contracted the virus at any of our campuses.
As our government officials discourage all types of gatherings, the community impact is apparent; local public schools have closed causing unique circumstances for some of our students with children. At this time the college has decided to suspend classes for the next two weeks starting March 16th, 2020 to March 27th, 2020. Classes will resume March 30th, 2020. This will push back the graduation date for the Spring 2020 graduating class, to May 1st, 2020. This will not affect the start of the Summer 2020 semester scheduled to begin May 5th, 2020. We can appreciate the impact this has on everyone, and this decision was not made lightly. The college feels this is in best interest of everyone, at this time. The campuses will remain open during this time for our students and faculty. While the intent is to help the practice of social distancing to prevent the spread of this virus through the community, we hope you find this situation to spend quality time with your family. We will keep all golf privileges intact for the students during this time. The same rules do apply as when the college is in session.
We encourage all student to keep in touch with their class coaches. If you or anyone in contact with you become infected, please notify the college immediate.
We will continue update everyone as or when changes are made.
