The Professional Golfers Career College was allocated of $42,115 earmarked for students from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Professional Golfers Career College has signed and returned the HEERF certification and agreement form and has used or intends to use the funds to provide the mandated amount of at least 50% of the emergency financial aid grants to students.
- 09-25-2020: The campus disbursed a total of $3,500 to students. There were 34 students who were eligible to participate in the program and were eligible to receive the emergency financial aid grant. The campus disbursed the emergency financial aid grant to a total of 7 students.
- 03-05-2021: The campus disbursed a total of $18,000 to students. There were 66 students who were eligible to participate in the program and were eligible to receive the emergency financial aid grant. The campus disbursed the emergency financial aid grant to a total of 9 students.
- 03-31-2021: The campus disbursed a total of $16,000 to students. There were 66 students who were eligible to participate in the program and were eligible to receive the emergency financial aid grant. The campus disbursed the emergency financial aid grant to a total of 8 students.
- 03-31-2021: The campus returned $4,615 of unused HEERF CARES Act funds.
Determining Eligibility
All enrolled degree-seeking Professional Golfers Career College students who are eligible to receive federal financial aid, or could be eligible to participate in the programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA), were evaluated for the HEERF authorized by the CARES Act.
Eligible students were required to apply for emergency aid by completing an online CARES Act emergency grant application.
Assistance for students will be disbursed by check. The emergency grant applications will be reviewed and dispersal of funds will be done upon approval.
